Do you accept custom orders/requests?

I apologize, but at this time, I am unable to accept custom orders or requests.

What other types of art do you make?

As a glass artist, I find maximum joy in exploring as many diverse techniques in glass as I possibly can.  If only there was more time...I have studied for year under various artists at the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY, and the Penland School of Crafts in Penland, NC, to broaden my knowledge of glass.  I enjoy blowing glass at the torch and at the furnace, but I also enjoy carving (coldworking) glass, as well as casting glass in a mold.  My mom would say that I was born an artist--I was always drawing, painting, writing, or constructing something out of my Legos or playing in the dirt!

Do you make your own colors?

Much of the color I use is made from skilled and talented American glass producers, such as Northstar Glassworks, Glass Alchemy, Greasy Glass, Trautman Art Glass, Paramore Glass, Momka Glass, and Molten Aura Labs.  Producing colors in borosilicate glass is a laborious, often unpredictable, and sometimes nasty task.  On occasion, I do mix my own glass colors, by hand, with raw heavy metals, and I will indicate in the product description when I have.  Overall, I prefer to leave it to the experts to develop and produce amazing borosilicate colors!
